Just been woken up by OH from an evening doze on the sofa when she spotted #pipistrelle #bats doing laps of the house out of the window; it's finally warm and still enough of an evening

Waay better than the Swiss formation air display team (I imagine, as I entirely missed all but the noise of their fly-by of #wrexham morning)

Good morning you lovely lot 💕 I am back home and up early with the parrots and have had a lovely long cuddle with Ziggy, who has stopped biting me, so it looks like I have been forgiven for going away and leaving her 😊 Yesterday you could tell she was excited to see me, but she had to make her displeasure known by running down my arm, biting my hand, and running up to my shoulder again. She did this a few times to really make her feelings known! All good now though - we're pals again.

I'm so happy to see that our bats are back! Last year there were not many and we were getting worried when they didn't show up in April this year, but they have arrived in their numbers again now, which makes me very happy ☺️ Soon there will be baby bats too 🦇

Off to post two crochet toy orders this morning and then maybe some gaming. Will see how it goes

Good morning everyone. Our #pipistrelle #bats have arrived! 😊 We were starting to wonder as they seemed to arrive a bit later than normal this year, but here they are finally. I don't think they are all here yet, so expect more to arrive imminently.

The #parrots are of course oblivious to all my excitement. The two species never cross paths despite living in the same house. We used to get bats downstairs from time to time, but over the years we have managed to block up all the tiny ingress holes (hopefully 😊). When the babies are born the scratching in the walls is a bit louder and you will often see one of the #parrots stop to listen, but it doesn't seem to bother them at all. At the moment they are too busy with breakfast to care anyway 😂 #petsofmastodon #birdsofmastodon #BirdsOfFediverse #goodmorning

I'm going to the Highlands tomorrow,so today will be all about prep to make sure the birds are fed and happy while I'm away.
