My father-in-law died this morning. It was the expected end to a long, expensive, exhausting decline. My wife is the primary contact & support sibling. Her family is not sentimental, but he was her dad & she's stressed. I'm not sure how I feel stuck at work with my bicycle.

This track came up in my shuffle. I completely lost it. The sound of a pipe band just overwhelms me & lays me bare at the best of times.

My little local gala yesterday in #Fife in #Scotland. We're right on the edge of the village surrounded by woods and farmlands. Don't think I've ever seen a #PipeBand emerge out of a woodland before. Lovely touch to have some of the kids activities keeping a #rural theme.
