Okay, the weather was so perfect and the people watching (& cute pooches) so compelling I decided to stay to try their *rum punch* — not on the menu, only for #HappyHour !
He asked me if I had a nut allergy (almond liquor), then they add rum and pineapple juice, plus strawberry bits and orange slice.
Is it dessert? Is it a cool punch? How about a cocktail? Yes to all & then some.

I took some time this afternoon to cut a #Pineapple. I forgot how annoying it can be to cut a fresh pineapple, but so totally worth it. It's so delicious I'm actually in a good mood.🍍 🦉 ✨

Remembered I cut one last year and ended up with some pretty decent owl faces. No faces this year, which probably means I've gotten better, yet worse.

Where can I find #pineapple that was picked when it was ripe instead of when it was still green? Used to be pineapples smelled like pineapple when you sniffed them and filled the room with aroma when you sliced them. Now they seem to be picked before they get sweet, and they sure don't get any sweeter sitting around on grocery shelves. #michigan
