Hearing the #song Bad Feelings by Cobra Man, the band that claims the genre that inspires me, which they call #PowerDisco (the socio-historically incongruous combination of #Rock and #Disco-#Funk) in the gay film #Pillion I've seen yesterday (even though it's a seriously niche band, to my knowledge, that no one I talk to knows about, and that I discovered in 2024/2025), rekindled my motivation to bring Heavy Disco into the world, with a view toward launching a Gay Wave of Disco Heavy Metal

With my theory in mind that Heavy #Metal is part of #Gay culture and that it was, in part, the homophobia of rock/heavy metal culture, appropriated by heterosexuals, that killed Disco-Funk and that, out of duty, homosexuals should revive these two genres and marry them together, even though they were opposed in a double ‘extermination’ of our culture: both through the heterosexualised appropriation of heavy metal culture from gays and through outright homophobic repression (and racism, as homophobia was also being a means of discrediting black people).

That's why I've been working on the composition of my Heavy Disco demo (the #GuitarPro file is called PowerDiscoDemo, but anyway), the latest version of which you can hear attached to this message.

Entendre la #Musique Bad Feelings de Cobra Man, le groupe qui se revendique du genre qui m'inspire, qu'il a appelé le #PowerDisco (l'association socio-historiquement incongrue du #Rock et du #Disco-#Funk) dans le film gay #Pillion, hier (alors que c'est un groupe grave niche, à ma connaissance, que personne à qui j'en parle ne connait, et que j'ai découvert en 2024/2025), a ravivé ma motivation à mettre au monde le Heavy-Disco, dans l'optique de lancer une Gay Wave of Disco Heavy Metal

Avec en tête ma théorie selon laquelle le #HeavyMetal fait partie de la culture #Gay et que c'est, en partie, l'homophobie de la culture rock / heavy, récupérée par les hétéros, qui a tué le Disco-Funk et que, par devoir, les homosexuels devrions faire renaître ces deux genres et les marier alors qu'ils ont été opposés dans une double "extermination" de notre culture : à la fois par la récupération hétérosexualisée de la culture Heavy aux gays, et par la répression homophobe (et raciste, l'homophobie étant un moyen de décrédibiliser les noirs) pur et simple.
