Quebec in a nutshell. Canadian Women's Rugby Team make it to the semi final....not a word....beats to new zealand to make it to a final with multiple players from Quebec...not a word and I mean not even a mention in the media. Not on tv, not on the radio, the news websites and papers...nothing. This isn't a regional tournamenent...it's the WRWC the women's rugby world cup. Stadiums were full. But if there's a speck of a possibility of a Quebecois player being traded to the habs the Quebec media lose their damn minds! The Quebec fatigue is real...I was born and raised in Quebec, grew up in Montreal and Lac-Megantic. The absolute denial of everything and anything that concerns them or their language issue is so tiring. I'm glad I left.
