La Procura di Roma ha iscritto nel registro degli indagati Jacques e Jessica Moretti, gestori del bar Le Constellation di Crans Montana, dove la notte di Capodanno hanno perso la vita 41 giovani, fra cui 6 italiani, e altri 115 sono rimasti feriti. Nel fascicolo aperto a piazzale Clodio, coordinato dal procuratore Francesco Lo Voi con l'aggiunto Giovanni Conzo e il pm Stefano Opilio, si procede per disastro colposo, omicidio plurimo colposo, incendio e lesioni gravissime aggravate dalla violazione della normativa antinfortunistica.
Agli atti dell'inchiesta capitolina ci sono le testimonianze dei ragazzi italiani rimasti feriti nel rogo del locale da cui è emerso che le uscite di sicurezza erano sbarrate, che la titolare Jessica Moretti stava scappando, poi il fuoco divampato in pochi minuti per l'assenza di materiali ignifughi, nessun estintore utilizzato e nessuno che dava indicazioni a chi tentava di fuggire. Nell'ambito dell'indagine, i pm avevano disposto il sequestro probatorio dei cellulari delle vittime e dei sopravvissuti per ricostruire la dinamica dei fatti.

The investigation files from the Rome prosecution include the testimony of the Italian survivors of the fire from the venue, revealing that the emergency exits were blocked, that the owner Jessica Moretti was fleeing, then the fire erupting in a matter of minutes due to the absence of fire-retardant materials, no fire extinguisher used, and no one providing guidance to those attempting to flee. As part of the investigation, the prosecutors ordered the seizure of the mobile phones of the victims and survivors to reconstruct the sequence of events.
