#Deskbot on a friday?!? Oh go on then. ☺️
Presenting, Wagon Master!
Yes, that is his name. My second attempt at acquiring this wee gem of a figure, and I'm *delighted* he's finally here.
Such precious, so enigma. Wow.
I think reversing him from his actual intended design, to have windscreen forwards like a wee tubby barrel belly, looks better than the reverse. 😄 What do you think?
He's feels very fragile in hand though (Don't we all). Might apply some lube.
"Guys, we're not collector's items; we're a child's playthings. We. Are. TOYS!"
From IDW's celebrated award-winning comic series, More Than Meets The Eye, written by James Roberts, came this wonderful collection of vaguely hostile shapes. Abandoned after the war they had to figure out what killing machines were supposed to do when War stopped.
Flywheels, Misfire, Krok, Spinister and Crankcase: "The Scavengers".
God, I miss them.

#TMNT #Photoygraphy #MecardIf you'd like a taste of the show it's on Youtube in English. Tanatos himself appears about 1:50 in the episode I've linked to below, as the second combatant in one of those awfully over-blown CGI intros Anime series like to give characters. It's stupendously reminiscent of Transformers' Unicron-trilogy of shows as well, and even a bit RID (2000), all Japanese in origin.

Warning: it's a kids not-Pokemon show. Don't expect Shakespearean dialogue. 😄
Today's #deskbot (almost too big for the desk!) is the mighty BRUTICUS, the total Icon of Combat!
This guy was a *long* time coming, Vortex (grey helicopter) and Onslaught (main body) both quite pricey on eBay now, and Vortex particularly in demand.
But he's here now. Let the carnage begin!
Since these Halcyon days Volkswagen became very particular about licensing out their vehicle designs to companies who made, in their words, "War Toys". Can't think why a German company would be so squeamish...
Morning, everyone! I hope you're all in top form!
Like this guy! Bug Bite!
One of the "super" Gobots from the OG toyline, larger figures with more detail than the regular line, he's one of my all-time favourites. Not only for his resemblance to iconic Transformer, Bumblebee, but for his unashamedly retro look: the pincer hands, the blank windscreen face...it's so gloriously 1970s design ethos it makes me weep joyous human tears.
A battle for the ages! This scene is reminiscent of a fight between Galvatron and the ever-popular Dinobots in issue 102 of the Marvel UK comic!
Galvatron here in the colours his original toy was released in (totally different from his movie dark purple appearance).
Who won? Despite the Dinobots' strength it's likely the super powerful Galvatron *would* have won; only the appearance of the Decepticon army made him flee the scene!
