I found an old #photoalbum in a thrift store. I normally wouldn't buy something like that cause it's a bit uncanny, but this I could not resist. The album itself on the verge of disintegrating, but most of the photos in good condition albeit blurry and bleached. Photos from the 1910's and 20's. People all gone now, a few maybe forgotten, but here they are, frozen in time, young, vibrant and just enjoying that fleeting "now" that drags us along towards oblivion. Some of the pics have been enhaced with AI because they were in quite a bad condition.

- Four women dancing on the beach. They really do. :) This could actually be in #landskrona - the thin blob on the horizon could be the island of Ven.
- Squad of girlfriends. (Enhanced w AI)
- This could be from some amateur theatre but more likely a fancy dress party, which actually was a HUGE thing back in the days; before TV, cable, video/dvd and internet,
- Three young men arm in arm.
- Open air dance floor. There was one in every village back then. One can still find their remains in the Swedish landscape and forests. If you look closely. These were THE place to be, getting pissed and fighting, dancing till you dropped, finding a bit of love, meeting old and new friends,
Yoy know, people are exactly the same then as now. We enact the same play again and again. The lines change, the backdrops, the props - but the play is the same. Eternally so... :)

I've started the "work" on the real photo album for Koa. I managed to fill up 11 pages so far. There are 19 more to fill, so in the near future I can print more pictures to add.
My dad will print some texts and dates for me, so I can cut those out and add them to the pictures in the album.
