This afternoon I potted up one of the Red Marconi peppers plants to overwinter it and put it in the grow tent. Tonight when I was checking on it I spotted a Bold Jumper spider enjoying the fake sunlight.

I found some squash bugs the other day after I thought I had beat them for the year. I took care of most of them with soapy water. Today I was checking and saw this and was about to squirt some soap but it looked odd so I looked closer and noticed the spider. The bold jumper had caught a squash bug. I didn't find any other squash bugs.

Was sitting at kitchen table. Nothing I'm consciously aware of made me look up at that very moment. But the instant after I looked--it dropped. When I tell y'all that I almost destroyed my kitchen in my utter panicked scramble to #GTFO 😳😳😳😫😫😫

It dropped 3", then scurried merrily back up like an innocent. Li'l fucker.

I've been watching bee swarm activity and noticed something much larger than a bee on the bait hive. A bold jumper jumping spider caught a bee for lunch it looks like.
