Vorgestern neue Hardware aus der Post bekommen. Ein wenig mit #OpnSense rumgetinkert, mich dann aber doch aus subjektiven Gründen für #PfSense entschieden.
Gestern Abend, als keiner mehr Internet brauchte, alten Router gekappt und neuen ins Netz gehängt. Nochmal kurz das Routing anpassen müssen und schon waren wir alle wieder online! - Schön wenns läuft.
Jetzt folgen die Goodies wie #haproxy , #pfblockerng , #vpn , etc.

I'm resurrecting an old raspberry pi and now i'm wondering about what are the alternatives to #pihole and what are their advantages / disadvantages.

I was aware about #pfsense
+ #pfblockerNG but checking now internet I found #technitius and #blocky.

I plan also to deploy a vpn, wireguard if possible and if not, the old openvpn and setup wake on lan for the main server at home.

Do you tested any of the alternatives i mentioned or are you aware of something even better?

What are your thouhgts about them?

Estoy resucitando una vieja raspberry pi y me planteo que alternativas hay a pihole.
Ya con conocía pfsense y acabo de descubrir technitius y blocky.

Además de un bloqueador de publicidad planeo instalar una vpn, probablemente wireguard si es posible y si no la vieja y confiable openvpn y configurar wake on lan para encender el servidor principal de mi casa.

¿Habés probado alguna de las alternativas o conocéis algo mejor?
¿Tenéis alguna recomendación?
