Deep Listening Day #67 — The Beach Boys: Pet Sounds (1966). truly gorgeous. even though I knew some of the songs I did not embrace #PetSounds until my early 40s. it has become one of my favorite albums ever. it led me to a worthwhile deeper dive into The Beach Bsoys' music of the late 60s and early 70s.

If #PaulMcCartney was actually inspired by the #PetSounds-Album of the #BeachBoys to write #SgtPepper, IMHO #HeroesAndVillains must have been the most influential track.

Different sections w/ different rythms, different arrangements and mixups. Crazy and genius.

Edit: Goood Vibrations is probably the second most influential one.
