I hobby as a Rockhound (with a small YouTube channel) and this fossilized coral was gifted to me. It was likely found in Northwestern Lower Michigan USA by the Elk Rapids area. I suspect it's a type of chain coral if I had to guess.
Anyone have any ideas on ID?
The second picture is some of my Petoskey Stone (fossilized colonial coral) polishing work. 😁 I'm hoping this will polish up nice too!
