Takako 🐀NHSPCA needs help on their 1000 mouse situation. A long story short, an overwhelmed owner initially surrendered a few hundred mice, and more are currently getting rescued.

Azarielle DoomWhen I've accidentally housed males and females together in the past it hasn't taken long for the females to tear chunks out of the males ears and leave bite marks on their tails.
The 2 brothers haven't fought anything like that. Just wingy squeaks when one decides the other's pumpkin seed looks tastier.
Their behaviour reminds me more of pet rats, than what I've been told about pet mice (I've only had one male and much later 3 females).
