Starting to grow some fatter lads in the garden! From left to right: (slightly sunburned) LER; Hydra (cultivar I named); and Walt's Dragon. Plus Jerry bic for size reference. I have two even fatter ones in my garden but I only chopped these because they're grafts. I prefer to let them grow until they're mature stands - a status which none of my lads have reached yet.

Found some bug eggs (possibly cutworm / Noctuidae moth according to Lemmy) laid on the higher-up spines of my tallest Trichocereus cactus. Fostering an ecosystem!
