Arguments that the #EU is being left behind are naturally confronted with the fact that other countries such as the #US and #China give way less damns about #dataprotection, #copyright, and other #personalrights. Yes, it's difficult. So let's just not give a damn either for the sake of the "#economy". For GROWTH πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ€‘, right? Why even bother with basic rights if there is innovation?!

It's not a race to the bottom if you stand behind your rights and start confronting those services if they want to make business in the EU they need to follow those necessary rules – looking at you #meta, #microsoft and #google ( as examples )
