How do you deal with accusations that your writing is AI?
It happened to me for the first time and I am still processing it. After spending precious time and effort in writing something very personal, it feels like a slap on the face.
I'm thinking about committing my drafts as I go, then I can just point people to my git history. Though why should I bend over backwards and alter my process? Rough drafts are by definition not yet ready for showing the world.

A while ago—I don’t remember exactly when or how—I came across a pair of posts: Going Back To Daily Blogging and My Blogging Workflow: A routine for nearly a post a day for 4 months straight. . Both of them touch on writing and blogging habits. I do not write a blog post every day. I don’t try to. I’ve done it for brief stretches, during Blaugust . It quickly felt like a chore. It felt exhausting.

Today’s post is in the old-man-yells-at-cloud genre. It’s a sequel of sorts to a much older post of mine, in which I complained about the difficulty of buying shoes . I want a timer for Pomodoro type tasks. My phone has a timer, of course, and my watch, and my computer can do it. But I don’t want those. I want a physical, analog timer that can sit on my desk in front of me. I have another requirement, and this is where all the trouble has been. I want to buy it in person, at a physical store.
