Today will be the 15th anniversary since my #mother died. The only way I can think of to grieve is to play one of her favorite #videogames, #persona4. She would play it over and over again, getting every persona and social link; I think the characters gave her a well-needed sense of #community in the final years of her life when #heartdisease had rendered her an invalid. I wish I had held onto her memory cards... or anything else of her other than faded recollections. I miss her so much.

#Persona4 makes being a teenager in the early 2010's, getting abandoned by your parents, and living with your alcoholic borderline-abusive uncle in a small town with an astronomical crime rate 1000% cooler than it has every right to be. I still love it though. #rpg #jrpg #persona #shinmegamitensei

I think there's a double-edged sword to being able to play so many #games on #linux. My #productivity is completely shot. Like today I started this #JRPG called #Persona4 thinking I would just check to make sure it was running in Proton okay... two hours later and I realize I'm still playing the opening cutscene and I haven't even picked up a sword yet. I should totally get back to my own #lgbt #highschool #cyborg novels before I get sucked into the TV world forever...
