#WinterSolstice offerings for Dad & ancestors 🙏❤️ We have a simple home altar in our living room. We have ceremonial incense stations in our kitchen & both the front & back porches too.
We have no photographs of my matriarch Grandparents nor my patriarch Grandpa - or else they'd be on the wall too.

As persimmons turn to orange, doctors turn green is a nice saying and roughly corresponds to ”an apple a day keeps the doctor away" (found at #elizabethandoh). My latest fermentation experiment, and what a flavor explosion! Kakife, a water kefir with persimmon, fennel, cinnamon, and star anise. Never thought that fennel and star anise would go so well in a drink. I stole this recipe from #weltdermikroben. So simple and a completely different flavor. #persimmons #waterkefir
