I wonder what would happen if some #mathematicians have a similar neurological and perceptual super powers. But then, mathematicians do possess highly developed visualisation abilities and intuitions, which might well be called super powers.

I’m pretty happy with how it’s shaping up. My son has been using it 4-5 times per day (the sessions are frequent but short), and it’s kind of amazing to see how good he is at identifying chords.

Chord Identification Method Trainer

This is an implementation of Eguchi's Chord Identification method (paper access can be found via Sci-Hub). See also Ichionkai Music School. This is a method for teaching absolute pitch to children aged 2-6. Children should practice ~5x per day for 2-3 minutes (about 20-25 identifications). Chords are always identified with colors, and progress in the sequence red (CEG), yellow (CFA), blue (HDG), black (ACF), green (DGH), orange (EGC), purple (FAC), pink (GHD), brown (GCE).

A question for fellow #musicians and others with #AbsolutePitch:

Since I came down with a cold on Monday, I've been hearing some pitches (especially near C4) up to a half-step below their actual value in my left ear. My right ear is so far unaffected.

What's going on here? Should I be alarmed? Anything I can do to clear it up?

Any info/input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
