cobaltBig Deal for Beej! Starting my coffee a little late because I waited for delivery on the new 12 cup coffee percolator. So right now I’ve got 8 cups brewing as double brew coffee. Added a new 2 quart LocknLock carafe for leftover coffee and it fits in the refrigerator door. The tall blue travel cup is what I use for 2 1/2 cups or less but now I can go for more. The old 8 cup percolator is right next to the new one so you can see the difference. Oh I like shiny things!
Now I can use just the right one. Btw, a burr grinder is the only way to go for fresh grounds. Also, I have to remind myself that a “cup” in coffee maker terms is only 6 oz. My mugs average 10 oz. I picked out the inaugural mug for today, shared in second photo. #Coffee #Percolator #Shiny

CTDTalking about Percolator yesterday reminded me that it still works. Unlike many that didn’t survive the 64 bit transition such as the much missed dungeon raid.
WallyFirst time making #coffee in a #percolator and I forgot to lower the #heat a bit. Needless to say I got jump scared and I noticed the coffee pouring at an unexpected rate from the top part 😅
