In the end, I wimped out and instead of just thinning, separated my tangled seedlings carefully among 4 trays and 4 pots.

Now I have 40 viable Italian finger pepper (twisty chili) seedlings growing and room for max 2–4 chili plants in my garden when the spring comes (unless I abandon everything else), so I'm trying to find other suckers gardeners to take some from me.

I'm make a lousy heartless Greek or Norse god.

Too early to up pot?

3/ I’ve started most of my peppers this year. Switching more to baccatums bc they use more vertical space and so produce more. They also live longer - my madhatter peppers are still going that were started spring 2020.

In the race of baccatum seedlings, ají Guyana popped up first at 8 days, followed by ají lemon balls (variant of Ají limon).
