أطلقت منصة Penpot الإصدار الجديد 2.16 الذي يقدم ميزة معالجة الرسوميات WebGL بنسختها التجريبية لتعزيز الأداء بشكل ملحوظ. كما يتيح التحديث للمصممين استخدام رموز التصميم الرقمية مباشرة، مع دعم خطوط woff2 وإمكانية تحميل الخطوط المخصصة. تضمن الإصدار أيضاً أداة للبحث والاستبدال للنصوص والطبقات، وميزة فحص أخطاء CSS، بالإضافة إلى وضع المعاينة للقراءة فقط للنسخ المحفوظة، مع تحسينات شاملة في تجربة المستخدم وإصلاحات تقنية تهدف لتسهيل سير العمل الإبداعي وزيادة الإنتاجية.

I've been using #penpot with the MCP server to connect to #claude and got very interesting results. This could be a solid alternative to #Figma, especially if you're on the starter plan, which is severely limited in MCP calls. I've used many design tools in the past, and though Figma has become the top tool in the last 4 years, you can still work around it. All we need now is for #Anthropic to go open source!

No es el artículo más profundo y extenso, pero me sirve para recomendar Penpot, otro exponente del código abierto muy útil a la hora de diseñar interfaces de usuario para webs y aplicaciones.

No solamente podemos recurrir a él gratuitamente (aunque existen planes de pago con algunos extras) sino que, para aumentar la seguridad y privacidad de nuestros trabajos, podemos autoalojarlo sin ningún problema. Y por eso nunca entenderé que las empresas privadas sigan apostando por software privativo que genera mayor dependencia de un producto ajeno.
