Empty space. Where once echoed the brave stories of sailors, now lingers only the silence of the nearby sea.

"This abandoned room belongs to the Abri du Marin of Douarnenez, built in 1912 as a philanthropic refuge for local fishermen. It offered warmth, rest, and community — under the fronton’s inscription: “Aimez-vous les uns les autres” (Karet an eil egile – “Love one another”). Today, its walls remember a chapter of maritime life now fading into history."
