47/100 #The100dayproject
This is a Bombyliidae - also known as a bee fly! They're frikkin' adorable. Unfortunately my eyes are giving me issue today so uhhh it is what it is :D
Number 46 of #The100dayproject - I've been on a bit of a weevil kick it seems!
This one is a giraffe (necked) weevil, he's endemic to Madagascar.
I'm almost 1/2 way through this sketchbook, which is awesome. I do have another of these exact books, and I'm thinking I'll do 100 mushrooms.

Got todays bugs done! I drew a common blue (type of butterfly apparently) and a carrion beetle ^^ It was fun. Only 58 to go.
I've only got one done so far, but I'll get the 2nd done a bit later when I've got some free time. ^^ This is #the100dayproject number 39!
Picking back up with bug #37 and #38 (my alternative to Inktober) - I've decided to drop the "only bugs in Canada" bit so I could get more variety & motivation to actually finish this project. Aiming for 100 bugs completed by October 31st.
Done in pencil crayon in a cheap sketchbook, you can check out the thread for the previous bugs.
I am not participating in Inktober this year - but I AM going to work on finishing up my 100 day project (remember, I was drawing bugs?). I'm on bug #37, so I'm going to attempt roughly 2 bugs a day. Pretty excited about that! You can see my previous bugs on my website here:
35/100 Still slowly doing #the100dayproject - this is our biggest bug nemesis here on the East Coast, even bigger than our mosquito nemesis.
Normalizing messy sketchbooks, using art supplies, and making dedicated time for art (maybe even getting better over time with practice).
