"A bird from down under" white ink on black paper. Honestly not a fan of the name I gave this when I drew this a few years ago, but I wrote it on the drawing so here we are. I just thought it looked like an upside down bird. Could I have turned the paper so it would look right side up? Yes, I definitely could have. Anyway, according to Wikipedia, there are over 11,000 known species of birds in the world, with perching birds (passerines) making up almost half of all birds. Australia has about 900 bird species.

“My brain, on anxiety” pen on paper. Is anxiety a drug? It certainly has an addictive quality to it, and once you’ve given in to anxious thoughts, it can be terribly difficult to let go of them. It scrambles the brain and tarnishes moments. Our society feeds it in us and keeps us bound and unfocused. If only we could easily let it go.
