Vršovická drážní promenáda je v zimě použitelnější, než kdy jindy. V období vegetace totiž nelze jednoduše projít kvůli hustému křoví a životu v něm. Následující snímky ukazují, že je i hojně využívaná podle stop ve sněhu. Úrovňové křížení v místě bývalé zastávky Strašnice zvýšilo komfort pěší dopravy. Slabší je však křížení ulice V korytech. Tam je stržený původní most a silná doprava se bez navazujících přechodů obtížně překonává.
