Just received the first batch of complete Core 2 Duos! We're still working on finishing drivers for all peripherals in PebbleOS. But it's wonderful to see it working, connected to my phone over Bluetooth, downloading watchfaces, etc!

@dolanor I have ordered a new Pebble watch though (the new one, "Core 2 Duo") and plan on making an SDK for #TinyGo.

It has all the features I want from a watch, such as an e-paper display and the ability to write apps and watchfaces for it. I have some thoughts on what my preferred watchface is, so definitely going to look into that.

Shiet. The screw holes of my #pebble got broken.
The screws just go through, the back cover doesn't attach anymore.
Anyone an idea what I could do? Are there replacement parts?

@swatantra I get it. So far, I’ve held off pretty easily - Apple / Samsung and such don’t offer anything of interest to me. I’m intrigued by the re-release of the #pebble smart watch - purporting a 30 day battery, with open source software, I think I may actually benefit from not having phone in pocket so much around house. Of course, probably better off not having phone in pocket _and_ not having a smart watch.
