It looks like you can stack the NEC PC-6601SR on top of itself. The feet on the bottom of the case are structurally tied to the nubs on the top, which usually hold a monitor, but it can also hold another PC-6601SR.

I wonder if they intended to have other stuff mate with the Mr.PC stack? Maybe a CD-ROM drive?
