In January, I posted a rather extensive articulation of how we play #PaxRenaissance in my house. Check it out if you like!

Here's an #introduction to this account
I'm @nauss and this is the account where, I guess, I'll talk about - and maybe post pictures related to - my board game habits
Some games to which I more or less know the rules at this point, in no particular order: #TwilightStruggle, the shorter #TSRedSea, #ImperialStruggle, the excellent #BayonetsAndTomahawks produced by talented locals, #HereIStand, #VirginQueen, #PaxRenaissance, #PaxPamir, #Arcs, maybe #JohnCompany but I'm not certain, and at least the Breaking the Bismarck Barrier scenario of #EmpireOfTheSun (finally, a game with real hexes). I have played several COIN games but the one I like the most is #AndeanAbyss. I love #DominantSpecies. I'm starting to love #Nevsky
Definitely not a tabletop board game but I'm also a big fan of #CivilizationVI, e.g. #Civ6. More hexes!
Interested in playing more games with locals, connecting with other people in town, or playing with other places' locals when I'm out of town. Looking at you, Ontario
I don't use Facebook, Discord, or almost any spyware social media if I can help it - and I only use BoardgameGeek begrudgingly. Happy to be on wargamers.social now, I've been thinking about spinning up a more game-focused account for awhile but it's always been on the backburner 😀

#paxrenaissance première partie solo contre le robot (pas très convaincant). Victoire religieuse islamique, tout s'est joué en Orient : mariages, assassinats, invasion de Byzance par les ottomans, etc. Un jeu incroyable
Very first solo play of Pax Renaissance. Islamic religious victory, everything happened in the East, marriages, assassinations, invasions; Byzance ended as an Ottoman theocracy, to the great benefits of german bankers 😁. A complex but incredible game 😍
I published some house rules on BoardGameGeek for the game 2nd edition of #PaxRenaissance - especially nice for those who have the Age of Reformation promo pack (not to brag)

(Astute observers will note that I published in the wrong forum - for the 2017 pack for 1st edition. Any BGG mods out there wanna move it for me?)
I have been playing Pax Renaissance with the Age of Reformation Promo Pack for a few months now. The pack has been a great addition. I did have a few points of dissatisfaction with it, however. The included rules provide a scenario that expands on the 1550 scenario included in
Step into the tumultuous world of the Mexican revolution. This exciting Pax Porfiriana reprint features a complete new act to the game, act II, that takes place after the revolution, adding 120+ cards to the game. In addition you get an updated rules and card layout and some updated illustrations, offering a fresh experience for both seasoned strategists and new players. Also included in this campaign are a reprints of Pax Renaissance and Pax Viking.
Pax Renaissance neu auf #BoardGameArena — Regeln grob überflogen; na dann, mal schauen, wie viele Übungsspiele ich brauche :D
Last week we played Pax Renaissance 2nd Edition - one of my favourite designs. It's not particularly elegant, and then again - it is, in its own way,
