"Als ich das Drehbuch zum ersten Mal las, fand ich es wirklich lustig und ein bisschen verrückt", sagte er der luxemburgischen Zeitung "L`essentiel". Für den 39-Jährigen sei es bei seinen Rollen nicht so wichtig, wie ernst oder albern eine Geschichte auf den ersten Blick wirke: "Je tiefer man in die Geschichte eintaucht, desto trauriger ist sie, auch wenn sie absolut nicht auf traurige Weise erzählt wird.

I didn't know about this. In certain circles it was sold as "Pattinson aren't willing to work out for the Batman role..."

I would say from that one photo, he is alright as a young Bruce Wayne, who is just starting. Although I haven't seen the movie, so it's maybe year 2?

Hats off to him, not to use steroids that would certainly affect him, in not a good way.

I may watch the movie during holidays, but it's bloody long, so knows.

I used to like long films, but nowadays they are just not well cut and wrote movies. I mean you can sure cut down them to 2 and half hours if you have to...

We still need a good live action Batman-Bruce Wayne in his prime. Keaton, well came up short. Bale was a good Bruce Wayne, but so-so Batman, plus Nolan wanted so much realism, so he put Batman in the wheelchair after 1,5 years, LOL. Affleck was probably the best in overall, but he is basically an older Batman. I loved his Batman scenes. No, I don't care about the Martha scene, he was always emotional about his parents (who wouldn't be?).
