This journey has led me to a pivotal decision. As the interest and impact of A Radical Guide have increased over the years, I am now investing more time and energy into making this my full-time endeavor. It's a leap of faith, driven by the conviction that these stories and our collective action can truly shape a better world.

Your need to protect yourself keeps you focusing on problems. If you don't focus on the problems they might hurt you. That story isn't true and it keeps you focusing on things you can't do anything about. It keeps you feeling miserable.
Your focus on the problems doesn't protect you. It just upset you.
The problems don't do tricks. They don't jump out and bite you. There won't be any surprises.
Your fear of what happens if comes from a desire to protect yourself. When you dig into that what you learn quickly is that it's an old way of being that doesn't help you anymore. You don't need it. There's nothing to protect yourself from.
What you end up defending yourself from is the thing you want, the goal you have, the dream you don't let yourself go after. You don't protect yourself from the problems because those play out anyway. Do you see that? Your desire to protect yourself from the problems actually has the opposite effect.
You can shift your focus and not worry about your problems suddenly jumping out at you. It doesn't work like that.
