Lagos Moquehue hacia el oeste (der) y Aluminé hacia el este (izq) sus cuencas son dos grandes cubetas glaciarias producto de la acción erosiva del glaciar troncal M-A generado por la combinación de varios glaciares alpinos que se desplazaban pendiente abajo durante el Pleistoceno. La posterior fusión de dicho glaciar dió nacimiento a dichos lagos.

While Pumas aren't always easy to find, sometimes you get really lucky. We found Dania just before dawn on our first day in the field. She was sitting on a small ridgeline just as we entered the estancia. Shortly after that, she relocated to these bushes to take a snooze.
