I kid you not. I went to Washington Gas to set up the service to my new apartment.

It asked for an address. There's a field in which you can put you address.

Can you guess what the problem was?

If you guessed that a jackass decided that you shouldn't be able to paste into that field you win!!!!!!!

What can possibly be achieved by this nonsense?

"Well, er.... people are going to absent-mindedly paste their old address in there."

And this is happening with more frequency than people mistyping an address that you are *forcing* them to type, eh???
