Passive smoking leads to ~10,700 early deaths per year in the UK. So I think that measures to prevent people who do not smoke being exposed are called for.

But traffic pollution leads to over four times the early deaths from passive smoking (~48,625 early deaths per year in the UK). Surely reducing this should be greater priority?

Glad that in today's King's Speech #Labour has included "A Bill will be introduced to progressively increase the age at which people can buy cigarettes and impose limits on the sale and marketing of vapes" - Tobacco and Vapes Bill

I never smoked a single cigarette, but still developed cancer, probably due to #passivesmoking. Having half a lung removed because others smoke is a hell of a punishment.

I hope it will be astonishingly rare in the lives of today's children.
