We went on a hunt for E.B and met Hopkins in the Potting Shed, helped solve a Gardener Rabbit’s biggest Easter conundrum, met the Egg Box Artist - turning every egg into a masterpiece (loved the bubbles that appeared too) danced in the Chocolate Factory with Coco the Chocolatier, while finding out all about creating the perfect chocolate egg with some Easter magic! The chocolate factory also smelt so so good - chocolate of course! Then at the end the kids received an Easter Egg which they gladly tucked into! We were lucky to of been gifted PR Tickets for this event and I'm so pleased we did! It really felt like a whole bucket list for halfterm ticked off! Managed to get alot of activities crossed off: β€’ Mini golf β€’ Met the animals on the farm - Little bunnies, chick's, there was a pregnant cow, calves, lambs etc. Plus other cute creatures like birds, donkey, alpacas and tortoises. β€’Indoor Soft Play - another area to tire them out! β€’Adventure Playground - the kids loved the giant slide and the silos. β€’ Archery - Winnie didn't participate as she was too focused on chocolate. β€’ Tractor Ride where we saw a sheep with her little lambs. β€’ Air Cannon Arena - kids spent ages in there just blasting each other with soft balls. β€’ Milking Demonstration of the lambs. β€’ Go karting. We took a yummy picnic and ate in the sunshine but there is a cafe on site (they sell fruit tea which I was happy about), plus toilet facilities and a gift shop where there are alsorts of farm related foodies and branded gifts to take home! I've been taking the kids to Rand Farm since they were young and I always enjoy taking them - gets them off tech and into the fresh air and engaging with other children and animals. 10/10 Easter Activity 🀌"

I think it's great people continue to support and join in #LincsShow25 My family and I the last two years have loved to go, to experience a family day out - my sons favourite thing is the 'bee tent' as he loves all the products they make with natural honey. My youngest enjoys seeing all the farm animals and my teenager likes exploring and seeing the rich tapestry of things available like the local businesses on site. It's one of the county's flagship events with over 500 exhibitors each year. You can experience Lincolnshire's unique variety with shopping, horticulture displays, live music, equine and livestock competitions, children's activities, local food and drink, and fun entertainment (oh and the kids also love collecting freebies some tents like to offer like sweets!) We also liked the BMX display whilst eating freshly made ice-cream! There was also a 'human bowel' to explore (pictured on here) whilst learning about your health. There is: β€’ Parking β€’ Coach parking β€’ Toilets β€’ Dogs on leads β€’ Linked to public transport β€’ Groups welcome β€’ Baby facilities β€’ Food/drink β€’ Entertainment The Lincolnshire Show is organised by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, a registered charity whose aims are to educate about food, farming and the countryside. All profits from events support their educational work, which engages with over 13,000 local children each year. The Lincolnshire Agricultural Society's rich history began in 1869. For over 155 years the Society has dedicated itself to promoting food, farming and the countryside through events such as the Lincolnshire Show. Christmas Eve day I was working (boooo) but the kids enjoyed a pyjama sesh seeing Polar Express at the cinema with family and friends and having hot chocolate, after work it was the classic tradition of Christmas Eve boxes, treats out for Santa on the fireplace, feeding the Reindeers magic food and festive movies. Christmas Day - Santa had left all his gifts and we had the best day opening them, having the best food and it was just really nice. Family and friends around the Christmas dinner table (lashings of gravy) telling corny Christmas Cracker jokes, enjoying new gifts, having the day not leaving the house - the kind of rich I want in my life. Also, trying to get a nice photo of all of us is a whole challenge in itself! Hope you all had a Merry Christmas whatever you were doing or even if you don't celebrate πŸŽ…"
