Beautiful take on lucid dreaming and art.

I have been a lifelong lucid dreamer and it is always delightful to hear how other people experience this phenomenon.

I appreciate that he said it feels more accurate to him that it is a matter of "influence" rather than "control" in a dream. From early on I would re-cast roles or rewrite scenes in my dreams, but I usually stick with the story because I want to know where it's going.

Just had a conversation this morning with a friend (are you here? I should see if you are...) about secret rooms and houses in dreams. Those are my favorite! I feel like I'm most awake in my dreams in those spaces.

Really do need to shout out @puxley for the work he’s done community building here. It's not so much that I don't want to post more on Mastadon as much as I feel like I have stepped off the train at a busy station where I know I'm supposed to be meeting friends but my cellphone is dead and I need to work harder at searching them out.

But -- I'm going to put more effort into finding folks here.

We might need to hit on a hashtag that is a call out for others in the community?
