June Foray was something of a local phenomenon, having gotten her start creating voice characters at the public library in Springfield, Massachusetts. Strange to say, Richard C. Hoagland got his start quite nearby. Can't remember for certain but it may have been at the Springfield Science Museum. Springfield has a lot of culture and learning, brought together in one small neighborhood. June Foray was one of the bright gems to come out of it.

Not sure there's a particular reason for it, but lately I have been hearing a steady sprinkling of Art Bell bumper music on the radio. This morning I heard one of his circa-2000 songs. A few minutes later, a PSA used the phrase, coast to coast. It seemed as though Art was reaching out to us. I wouldn't mind any if he did.

ROD ARGENT UPDATE

The main updates on Rod Argent of The Zombies and the band, Argent, so far, are mostly coming from social media. They agree that Argent has decided to retire from touring. It is my hope more extensive reporting will follow. This seems to be all we have at the moment.

The Zombies has been one of my favorite rock bands since "She's Not There." I compile various artists music collections; and the one I am working on right now ends with The Zombies' "You've Really Got a Hold On Me," which is actually a medley with Sam Cooke's "Bring It On Home to Me."

Rod Argent's "Time of the Season," by The Zombies, has long been a favorite on paranormal radio. Can't talk much about The Zombies without naming the masterpiece, "Summertime."

For some reason, rogue waves were in this morning's news at my usual news site.

Long ago, I heard a discussion on paranormal radio that touched on the search for a hundred foot wave.

These two things got me to searching the Web for the largest rogue wave ever observed.
