Mother's day - another hike was on our agenda for today. Weather was ideal for a long walk, not too hot, not too cold - a light breeze, some clouds and sunshine inbetween. And, of course, there were plenty of beautiful views all along the route. A perfect mix for an unforgettable day 😎

Labor Day. Hiking Day. We went for a lovely walk in the sunshine, across a golf course, along a small creek, through the meadows and the woods. The scenery was very varied, and there was plenty to discover. We saw this anthill, and it seemed to me as the perfect combination of Labor Day and the challenge all in one 😎

I had to wait for a while today, so I started looking around for something to have a play with my camera. And yes - in front of a building, these tiny, lovely crabapple trees were in full bloom. I was attracted by the play of sun and shadow and so I spent some time moving back and forth to find a nice angle. Hope you like it, too.

Sitting at the table, just about to enjoy a wonderfully aromatic espresso and a delicious slice of peach-yogurt cake, when my brain went off in alarm - meep, meep - the challenge, the challenge - just look at those colors. Well, OK so I quickly grabbed my gear and captured the moment. You know, I don't like cold espresso 😋
