Continuing my #EwenInNepal series, this time we're stopping by the roadside near Jomsom and enjoying a little afternoon light on the river. The peaks of Nilgiri rise above in the distance.
This shot was taken handheld at 1/8th of a second on the Lumix S9, and my Okko ND64 slipped on the Lumix S 18mm to help achieve the slow shutter. Amazing what the stabilisation in these cameras can do now.

The 1st thing I did when we got home was check on the #alpacas & #sheep.
They had plenty of water & were grazing, but I gave them some lupins & lucerne. Just to be sure.
My better half watered our fruit & vegies. Again, just to be sure.
Then we headed up to #GoGo’s at #Macedon & had a meal at the neighbours eatery.
I had an all day #breakfast & the better half went for #pancakes.
After that - we headed back home for a nap. 🤗

MrGrumpyMonkeyI found an #IHOP so I stopped there for lunch. Of COURSE I got the chocolate chip #pancakes. I did notice something silly on the menu. There was this 'V' icon next to this on the menu. Which means it is 'vegetarian'. I think someone on the marketing team needs to be fired. 
Simon DassowTweaked a recipe until it matched my definition of a nice healthy high protein oatmeal spelt pancake:
Blend into desired consistency (fiber is important, so don't overdo it):
- 80g oats/oatmeal
- 240ml soy milk
- 2tbsp maple syrup
- 1tsp vanilla extract
Mix in bowl:
- 80g spelt flour
- 1tbsp baking powder
- 1/4tsp salt
- 1/2tsp cinnamon
Pour liquid from blender into bowl and mix well.
Bake using 2-4 tbsp batter per pancake, two should fit into the pan at once.
