I managed to find twice 20 minutes of free time in my day yesterday.

So I quickly started to paint the bases of a bunch of blue horrors I had sitting on my desk.
I also started painting the exalted flamer of Tzeentch.

If I keep putting 2 layers every 2 months, I might finish this model by the end of the year.

Finally took photos of yesterday's completed mini. You can see on the back of the cloak, those white ashy spots. They developed in the same areas where I had more defined shadows (I'm still practicing shadows/highlights). So where I was pretty happy with how I did the shadows, the varnish decided to leave behind white residue in the same areas undoing my work. This was a full 24 hours after I had done the shadows so nothing was wet.

Meh...It's painted and overall I'm happy with it. Still working on highlighting confidence but that's practice and I'm not shying away from it anymore, but I'm also not bold ;-)

Slept well last night. Already washed my hair and did my weekly deep conditioning treatment. The Mr is already on his way home and should arrive within the hour.

Spent a few hours chatting with the BFF, and I can't paint & talk, so didn't make the progress that I wanted today...WORTH IT.

Still a good day. Practiced using watered down washes to add shadows. I've also decided to take more of my brushes for a spin. I identified a few that are trash so I consider that a win. I've got to stop buying brushes then refuse to use them cause MY PRECIOUS!

Hoping to finish her up tomorrow.
