Put together a small CW QRP practice kit for a recent trip. The key to this for me has been the #truSDX and this super rad USB-C PD to 12v barrel plug. PD seems to keep the battery on whereas USB-A 3 won’t. Funny enough non-fancy USB has no problem pushing out 5v all day long!

Did some testing of my new #DXCommander carbon fiber pole with my #PackTenna 20M raised about 9’ in the air. Super solid almost 1:1 SWR and no #rfi issues that I could tell.

Jim - kd9pahSpent some time today operating #ft8 portable with my #tx500. I was taking the new batterypack for it's maiden voyage. The bands were poor, but everything worked well. Exercised the #packtenna ended randomwire and endfed 20m.
