Lunch yesterday was at #PacificWharfCafe to try out the new menu items.

The turkey pesto club (turkey breast, pesto aioli, havarti, bacon, arugula and tomato on herb focaccia) was a little messy but very tasty.

The beer cheese soup was good but I didn't think it was quite as flavorful as the prior cheddar ale soup. Served in a sourdough bread bowl and topped with toasted pretzel pieces. #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure #magicisback #magicishere

#AlienPizzaPlanet aka #PizzaPort has a broccolini and lemon chicken pasta that sounds good. Will need to try that.

#PacificWharfCafe has a new turkey pesto club that sounds good. I love the cheddar bacon ale soup that they often have, so I'm not sure about the beer cheese soup, but I might have to try it anyway. I wonder if they'll give me a taste first. /1

Lunch last Saturday was at #PacificWharfCafe. I tried the new chipotle chicken sandwich. I'm not thrilled with the proliferation of focaccia bread for sandwiches, but this was pretty good and much firmer than usual, so I liked it. The sandwich was tasty but messy and was falling apart easily, so i ended up eating it in bits. #disneycaliforniaadventure #magicisback #magicishere

I also tried the holiday sandwich - black forest ham, whole-grain mustard spread, cranberry mayo and arugula on a stuffing roll. The sandwich was tasty, though messy, and a bit heavy on the sauce. It also didn't work that well on the roll they used and would have worked better as a sandwich between two slices of a sourdough loaf. #pacificwharfcafe

Lunch today was at #pacificwharfcafe . Tried out the new chicken tortilla soup with grilled corn, fresh onion and cilantro topped with crispy tortilla strips, served in a bread bowl. I really enjoyed this soup, which was a little creamy and a little spicy and very flavorful. I do wish they'd give the option of ordering soup without the bread bowl because as much as I love their sourdough bread bowls, I don't always want one.
