I'm going to start sharing a series of posts on public online resources that I love, just because!
The first is the PNW Herbarium Consortium (https://www.pnwherbaria.org/data/search.php).
Type in your favorite native species and it will show where it's been found throughout the region, with collection details in a handy side pane.
It'll even include unusual occurrences of species outside its normal range. Like CA Bay Laurel/Oregon Myrtle growing in Tacoma.
