We were walking on Kingscliff beach in the late afternoon when this Osprey took off near the dunes, clutching its dinner.

I am in Melbourne and stupidly forgot to try to photograph the aurora last night.

This morning I got a photo of the #sun through fog. You can see a big area of #sunspot activity as well as some smaller ones.

I have no idea what this tiny brown insect is. It is no more than 1mm long. It appears to be carrying around some rubbish it collected.

I found it crawling on a container of figs packed in Childers, Qld. It didn’t pose for the photos!
