@nullagent I'd like to notice that what's called "tarmageddon" is demonstration not of #Rust problem, but supply chain problem that affects all open-source ecosystems.
This is a case of long standing bugs in unmaintained crate that too many people use without hesitation.

Everyone's looking for the next "#unicorn", and #bigTech is in big trouble if they stop reporting record growth.
But the opportunities for growth have run dry, so they're left with no choice but to #overhype everything.

The 3rd witness is #law prof #JonathanTurley, a frequent voice on #FoxNews & in other #RightWing #media…. Like Dubinsky & O’Connor, he’s established his belief that Biden is intertwined in something nefarious but… it’s not clear that he has any evidence to that effect.
But #Comer’s past willingness to #exaggerate & #overhype his cmte’s work does not bode well for the inquiry.
Our language is emergent & made of the stuff of human experience & social agency — so its extra hard to find ways to talk about non-human agents/actors clearly & accurately. But it’s an important discipline to cultivate.
