Profitable companies laying employees off for no particular reason except to try to appeal to the lightning traders are, to me, the definitive sign that the executive is All Out of Ideas. It may not be a death spiral today - but you can hear it coming.

We get #sata errors:

We already changed the cables to newer "for sure Sata II 6GB/s compliant" ones. The backplane should be certified to 6GB/s also. #OutOfIdeas
PamSold my AirPods and will get paid for them tomorrow morning. That leaves me $50 short for my bill. Meanwhile - I still need to come up with $900 roughly between now and the first to pay my car registration renewal fee, health insurance renewal and December payment, a $200 PayPal negative balance I got from using their debit card connected to my bank to deal with other bills, and my negative $500 bank balance that will cause my account to be closed on me if not dealt with by the 10th of January. Yay.

Sounds unorthodox but if anyone has a position I can fill / want to hire me to help them out with a project of some sort here’s my disarrayed list of skills as 30 yr old audhd woman 😅 #ineedanewjob #billsbillsbills #audhd #outofideas
•super computer saavy (macOS and Microsoft office 365 & just windows os in general, basic to moderate trouble shooting skills, basic to moderate html & ruby coding skills)
•can type 80wpm
•basic/moderate photo/video editing
• advance writing skills (done small time newspaper articles & slam poetry & fictional short stories)
•super organized
•email & phone etiquette (excel in an office setting)
•great clerical skills (was an hr intern in college & when I wasn’t handling sensitive docs or filling in for the receptionist, was creating new standard operating procedure docs for a streamlined id system for the nonprofit & then teaching that streamlined process to staff), as a whole, experienced handling sensitive documentation (filing, sorting, scanning, copy making, etc)
•tenacious problem solver (if I can’t figure out the solution on my own I will research & keep trying till I figure it out. Or find someone who can help me figure it out)
•I have a plethora of knowledge on psychology (ba in psychology) w/ a mental health background personally/professionally & am a firm believer in advocacy for anyone being wrongfully treated or persecuted for who they are (member of the alphabet mafia) or for their disabilities (audhd)
•experience w/ event setup organizing & setup for 2 or 3 years through college. Including the on campus marketing of those events.
•great at editing & proofreading docs or emails and revising if need be
•photography skills - as a hobby, but I’m quite good at it.
•I try to meet people where they’re at and help out where I can.
•I just don’t do well w/ customer service roles because of the people & the continuous interruption of work flow. Plus the retail store lights & loud blaring music is can be triggering
