I'm driving a minivan from the university motor pool this week, and I hate to admit that crawling in traffic in this giant barge with an automatic transmission is marginally less annoying than crawling in traffic with a manual transmission. What would be even better is a train, where someone else has to drive while I listen to Kate Bush and daydream about building the perfect outhouse, complete with bookshelves and a solar vent fan.

If you're into this sort of thing, there's a guy that goes around the Midwest and convinces people to let him dig holes on their property to see what he can find. Mostly outhouses, but 100+ years ago people tossed a lot of stuff down the bog hole. Mostly bottles of whatever are what survives.
What I also like is they superscript profiles of the companies they find, and some of those are even things you didn't know are still sold today.
