Trying to cook grits in my rice cooker for the first time ever. If it works it's another low effort solution for low spoons days.
Update: This worked really well! 1:4 ratio of grits to liquid cooked on regular rice setting.
I usually go for chicken stock, but my partner is doing low fodmaps at the moment, so I subbed hondashi broth. Finished with some butter, salt, pepper, a small squirt of sriracha (which we recently found out is lower fodmaps due to fermentation), a tiny bit of lactose free cream and the leftover bits of cheese in the fridge.
A definite win.
