On March 28, we will launch our march with one of the songs that has emerged from @singingresistancetc this winter when 2000 Minneapolitans sang it in front of hotels occupied by ICE. Words and tune (by Annie Schlaefer and Sarah Burgess) are extremely simple, and can be learned ahead of time.

"We walk the same ground, but we've been torn apart. Put down your weapons and sing your part."

You can hear it sung at https://www.patreon.com/posts/we-walk-same-149714560

Getting ready for next Saturday's protest? Take some inspiration from Minnesota's activists by wearing a red tuque or knitting your own "Melt the Ice" hat!

The red knit hats are inspired by the Norwegian nisselue hats worn as a protest symbol during WWII: https://melttheicehatpattern.com/history
