Back on Otis Watch!

Watching the livestream of bears at #Katmai National Park again. The salmon are jumping, and the #bears are there!

I'm seeing some mating activity today, too.

The oldest bear 480 Otis has not yet returned to the river, but he has been late before. He could be around, but not in view of the cameras.

I've been happy to see several coys (cub of year, or first-year cub). Several familiar older bears are back, including Grazer, 747, and Chunk.

@inkican And here I was following #otis because of #kingotis #otisthebear out at #katmainationalpark. Might need to mute the hashtag temporarily. It's overwhelming.

@HumToTable I just love the Katmai bears. They're great to have on the TV while I'm doing housework or reading or listening to a podcast.

Glad that #otisthebear was finally sighted again. It'd been over two weeks.

I took this still of Otis at Katmai Falls. He's there right now looking very tired after consuming 100 pounds of fish in the last 36 hours.
